The 2nd generation X1 had a brass boiler. The machine was a pod+ground machine. Some early models had the child's face in the temp guage - but not all.The dimension of the handle (from outer lug to outer lug) was 71mm. Look in the area where water is dispensed, if there is a brass coloured area then it has brass internals. Available late 2003-2008. In very short supply - last few remain.
